Enjoy a fun afternoon of scones, tea, and insights from tea enthusiasts! Great mother-daughter event!

Who doesn’t like a good tea party? Want to know how to throw one? How about an English “Afternoon Tea” 19th century style? Come to this class where you’ll experience the English atmosphere with teacups and tidbits – I’ll serve you tea, and teach you how to serve it with style and flair. I’ll show you that elegance is easy – you’ll learn to make it fancy and festive with grace and ease after taking this “diverting,” (as a 19th century Brit would say), class.

You’ll learn things like:

  • What foods to serve
  • The origin of tea as a social experience
  • How to set the table for a delightful and delicious “Afternoon tea”
  • Colors and flowers to accentuate the atmosphere
  • How to make the perfect (and authentic) “spot” of tea

And bonus materials like:

  • Experiencing a “tea party” firsthand
  • Coming home armed with quotes for your placetags from Esteemed Authors and Elites from Britain notorious for their taste such as Jane Austen, C.S. Lewis, Henry James and Sydney Smith!
  • Leaving with a delicious recipe to try at home
  • Don’t have a tea set? Go home armed with resources to get one at an affordable price!
